Well, a few of my pics won... I was soo happy that Marcia Gay Harden won for Pollock. I never saw it, but I have loved her forever. My favorite moment of preshow night was when stupid Sam Rubin was pointing out people and he said, "And look here come Katherine Zeta and Michael Jones!" Other funny part of the night, watching John Travolta and Kelly Preston try to get Barbara Walters to try Scientology. No matter how the explain it, it still sounds like a cult to me...

I can't believe I just spent the last hour playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire enhanced tv, dont ya know. Had to take a breather, because for the last 6 hours I was playing EverCrack. All that, just to hit level 22. And, all of you who play FF, dont tell me that you are lvl 50 already. Can, I just say that when everyone kept telling me that they were playing FF, I was shocked, because I thought... wow, there are way more people into fist fucking then I ever thought. Then it dawned on me that they were talking about Final Fantasy. Ok, gotta sit back and watch the new episode of The Practice.
WOOHOOT! Got carded tonight, I was all... no fucking way. You have got to be kidding, because I hadnt heard her card anyone else. I looked at the woman, and said you are joking right? she laughed, and said I carded them. And, then everyone at the table was all... he's like 35. And, then Anthony opened his big mouth and said, he's like 3 years younger than my mom! But, she looked at it anyway, laughed and got my beer.

ok, a few things to say... Aerick, the everdead shaman was rescued. WOOHOO... Hit lvl 21, then two secs later died and am 20 again. But, at least my body was in plain view and Im fine. And some stupid things discovered at my barnes and noble. I sometimes wonder, if they are only funny to me, or if it's because I work in a bookstore. The other night I had another barnes&noble call and they asked for the Autobiography of Malcolm X by Alex Haley. I mean, hello... if it were an autobiography it wouldnt be by Alex Haley. (it's was told to, but still...) When I got back from vacation the other day, I was shelving in fiction, and found The Lighthouse Keeper by James Michael Pratt, shelved alphabetically correct and faced out, under K for Keeper. I guess I have to give them credit, they shelved it under the LAST name of the Title. At another store, I found the biography of the Marquis de Sade titled Sade, shelved correctly in Music Biography. Well, you know Sade the singer is spelled the same.
And yesterday, a woman called on the phone: "I don't know the name, but it's a large white book with red letters on the cover and spine. And, the letters are ABC, but I dont know what they stand for." Another favorite misshelve, those o'reilly computer books with the animals on the covers? Well, I found one shelved alphabetically correct in the Fishing section, because it had a swordfish on the cover. I am sure there are many other stupid questions comments that I could list, but since I have to go to work now... I need to finish my coffee and go to the dungeon that is Barnes and Noble.
Yeah I know it's been forever since I've changed anything. That means, here... and all of my web pages. Somedays, I just fall into this lethargy, where I want to do nothing but play the goddamn games. Perhaps the fact that my body is mouldering in some tunnel surrounded by these lizrd things, and I have no idea where it lies, is a good thing. But, I love my character. Take a look for yourself.
In other stupid, unrelated gaming news my team in the league play at spiritwars came in third place in our division. It was a suprise, I did better than I expected and learned how to really play. I wish more people played though. I was sad to find out that masochistic was closing, because I did have a site there, but then I was invited to have space at Violaine's new domain, and I have to admit I was quite honored. So, maybe this is just what the doctor ordered, something to get me out of my uncreative malaise... oh that's one of my favorite spells. And in that pic... I'm Aerick. Ok, have to get ready for work.
